Date & Time: December 2011, late afternoon until 3:30 am Weather: Fair and Cold.
This was our second visit to this vacation home. We have worked with Nancy Ann and Jacob before but this was their first investigation as members of The Conscious Spirit. Welcome aboard! Historical Profile: There is reason to believe that the water source behind the owner's house may have been diverted from its original course before the place was built. This would have been due to the road and all the homes that were built in the 1970s. Many believe in the strong energy of water. This energy may have been disrupted. In addition, we believe lei lines should be researched in this spot. We are inclined to believe that a vortex exists here and is felt strongest in the back, guest bedroom, which is actually the basement level of the house. The owner chose to paint this room a blood red some time ago.
Investigation: The afternoon started with a lengthy conversation between Nancy, our demonologist and the owner. They exchanged thoughts and discussed ways to handle future issues that may come up in the home. The owner was concerned about frightening experiences that had plagued her family over a long period of time. As the family was expecting company for the holidays, she did not want her guests to be exposed to any risk. Their conversation took place comfortably in front of a lovely fire on the upper level of the home with a mountain view off in the distance. As this was taking place Terri and Jo-Anne set up equipment on the lower level, which gave Jo-Anne, an intuitive, the opportunity to feel the energy which exists in the home. The group conducted experiments to learn about various energy levels surrounding the people that were there. This was led by Nancy Ann. The owner is involved with Reiki and is very familiar with energy. Nancy Ann used her moss agate stone as a means to discover the strength of the energy that surrounds us.
Before darkness fell Terri took the time to wander around the birch stands outside. Nancy Ann explained that with her Druid beliefs the birch stands at opposite ends of the house signified a specific movement of energy. These trees were located on either end of the lower level with the "haunted" bedrooms in between. Statements of gateways to the other world are part of the Druid belief.
During the night we spent a lot of time in the Red Room at basement level. Nancy Ann called it the "blood room." She made strong efforts to communicate with the unknown here. It would appear any possible spirits wandering about only wanted the client. Clearly she was the target. Nancy Ann produced an antique silver mirror which she keeps charged in the dark when not in use. Silver brings out more energy. The client was instructed to stare into this mirror and report her observations out loud. She saw a young girl and a man with whiskers. There was an uneasy, sad feeling surrounding a possible child. Interestingly, Jo-Anne, who also used the antique silver mirror, picked up the same images. Both were able to handle the intensity and even welcomed it. During a long session in the back bedroom Terri heard a squeaky noise coming from inside the utility closet. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the door to the electrical box had opened at least an inch. The squeak was the hinges. This little room has been the place of intense speculation by the owners, especially the husband who feels an unknown presence is there. Previous testing of the electrical current demonstrated that this is not a potential source of trouble for sensitive people. You have to be right up next to the wires and box in order to get a meter reading and even then it is low. The door opening is unexplained. Also in this room Jacob's rose quartz stone lost all color from the persistent energy surrounding us. Jacob is quite gifted as well as being a protector. He could feel the unseen in the room with us. No evidence was obtained on photographs, video or audio. However we feel very strongly that we were not alone.

Investigator Comments: *Jo-Anne: "Very intense." *Jacob: (When Terri asked any wandering spirits to join the group in the Red Room) "Why invite any more in here, there are already 10 or 12 in here with us now."
Conclusion: Working with the team, and Nancy Ann in particular, gave the owner the empowerment she can work with in the future. We have determined that paranormal activity exists here; however, it is focused almost exclusively on the client. Both Nancy Ann and Jo-Anne are extremely gifted people who made strong attempts to communicate and were somewhat rejected. Nancy Ann broke through to confirm what the others were picking up. The effort took a lot of her energy to succeed. This was a particularly interesting case.
